The Laboratory

Adonai Eloheinu, nehalel shimcha u’k’vodecha.

“Adonai our God, we praise Your Name and Your glory.
We seek the radiance of our lives—the richness of the human soul You planted within us.
Grant us vitality and delight in the gift of life.
And where we stumble, remember us in Your sight and watch over us,
for You shaped us in truth.
Blessed are You, Adonai, Rock of Kindness and Mercy.
Amen.”
Solomon Ferguson, O:. A:., – S::I::I::, is a visual artist originally from the small, tradition-rich town of St. Meinrad, Indiana, and raised in the nearby river city of Evansville. His journey led him to Southwestern, Colorado, where he explores and refines his artistic ambitions.
Deeply influenced by his uncle, a prolific underground comic book artist, Ferguson was immersed in bold lines and saturated palettes from an early age. This early exposure, combined with a steady diet of Hanna-Barbara cartoons and 1980s comic book culture, shaped his visual language. His preferred medium, acrylic on hardback canvas, evolved into a parallel practice in digital art, where he channels introspection and philosophical study into colorful, layered visual forms.
His work has appeared in several gallery exhibitions throughout Indiana and in Southwestern Colorado, as he continues to push his style forward with each project.
